The ones to watch
Two of the brightest upcoming professionals in the area have joined our digital and PR teams, further strengthening our staff talent pool.
Jack Whitton, 19, joins us as a web developer after impressing during a brief work experience stint with his technical capabilities and grasp of the latest online trends. And new to our PR team is Danielle Howard, 23, whose passion for public relations and sparkling personality have made her a hit with both her colleagues and clients alike as our new account executive.
“Ever since I got my first computer I’ve been fascinated by the internet and started creating websites the moment I got my hands on my first programming book aged 12. I’m really happy to be doing this for a living, but in my spare time I still enjoy keeping up-to-date with what’s new in the computer world as this ensures my work is bang-on in terms of both the latest technologies and trends.”
Fresh from completing internships at two of the region’s top PR agencies, Danielle is also loving her new job.
“I wanted to go into PR because I enjoy writing, but I also like the pressure of tight deadlines, coming up with creative ideas and liaising with different people. I have absolutely loved my first six months in this role – I work across a fantastic range of clients, and am also part of a really nice team. I’m thrilled that I’m being given so much responsibility, from writing and issuing press releases to talking directly to clients and journalists. The most rewarding part of my job is getting positive feedback from clients on a job well done and getting them the results – I still love seeing the copy that I’ve written in top magazines and newspapers.”
Managing director Mark Littlewood says these successful appointments are testament to how passion for your chosen industry, hard-work and a great work ethic can pay off.
“One of the most rewarding parts of this job is nurturing the next generation of digital experts, PR practitioners and marketers. Both Danielle and Jack have quickly proved themselves vital members of the team and show great promise for the future.”
