Starting the year as we mean to go on!

What a great start to 2013 – our work for Norfolk County Council’s Hate Crime campaign has been shortlisted in the Public Sector Campaign of the Year category of the Golden Hedgehog PR Awards!

The Golden Hedgehog PR Awards, in association with the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) and Precise, celebrate excellence, and recognise and reward outstanding campaigns and exceptional talent in the PR and communications industry. Being in East Anglia, we fall into the Shortlist South sector and will find out if we’ve won at a glittering awards evening at the Emirates Stadium in London on Thursday 21 March.

We face strong competition from the likes of Charnwood Borough Council and North West Leicestershire District Council for their Don’t Muck Around Campaign; McCann PR for Discovering Keele University; Surrey Police for its Halloween & Bonfire Night Anti-Social Behaviour Campaign, and Westminster City Council for its Older Residents’ campaign.

The awards will be judged by an independent judging panel with a wealth of high-level experience and expertise. If we were to be successful the award would join the two BestForPR Awards we have already won for this particular project. We will of course let you know how we fare as soon as we know!
