We’re looking for a brilliant Office Manager and Front of House to become the welcoming face of OneAgency and Wensum Wharf.

You’ll be at the heart of agency life – the first person our clients and visitors meet and the person who helps make sure our office is organised, welcoming and running brilliantly every day.

You might be looking for your first opportunity to get into agency life, or you may already have a few years of office management, reception or customer-facing experience. Either way, what matters most to us is attitude.

We’re looking for someone bright, confident, organised and proactive; someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in getting things right and can keep a busy creative workplace running smoothly.

You’ll be supporting a brilliant bunch of marketers, designers, writers, developers, strategists and client teams – so no two days are likely to be quite the same.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Being the welcoming first point of contact for OneAgency and Wensum Wharf clients and visitors
• Managing reception and answering and directing incoming calls
• Coordinating client meetings, meeting rooms and visitor requirements
• Making sure our office, reception and meeting spaces always look organised and welcoming
• Managing kitchen, refreshments and office supplies
• Organising refreshments, business lunches and occasional client entertainment
• Managing our cleaning contractors and ensuring the office is maintained to a high standard
• Providing support to our Group Finance Manager, including finance and bookkeeping administration
• Helping with general office administration and the smooth day-to-day running of the agency
• Helping us create a brilliant working environment for our team and an equally brilliant experience for everyone who visits us
• Supporting our social media, digital, client services and wider agency teams when required – providing a great opportunity to gain experience across a full-service marketing agency

What we’re looking for

You don’t necessarily need previous agency experience. More important is that you’re:

• Exceptionally organised and good at juggling different priorities
• Friendly, confident and comfortable dealing with clients and colleagues
• A strong communicator, both in person and in writing
• Proactive – you’ll spot what needs doing rather than waiting to be asked
• Detail-focused and take pride in doing things properly
• Comfortable using everyday office technology and systems
• Reliable, professional and happy being a highly visible part of the agency
• Someone with personality who will fit naturally into a busy, creative environment

Previous experience in reception, hospitality, customer service or office administration would be useful, but isn’t essential for the right person.

The role

This is an office-based position at Wensum Wharf in central Norwich and ideally a full-time role.

However, for an exceptional candidate we would also consider a four-day Monday-to-Thursday working week.
