How to maintain SEO results when Google changes the rules
A lot has happened since the first Panda roll out a year ago, mainly more Google algorithm changes to keep digital marketers on their toes!
Graeme Knights, search account manager, comments; “The world of SEO is dynamic and ever-shifting, with strategy adaption a regular and necessary occurrence. Google is relentless with its continuing enforcement of relevant, compelling, high quality content and ethical link building, and rightly so. It’s something we, as an agency, have to consider on a daily basis. Otherwise we would not be achieving the results we are.”
For our client – Floors-2-Go – by adding conversion rate optimisation (CRO) to an already solid SEO campaign, we have ensured quality traffic translates into quality conversions. Out of 14 targeted keywords, 10 are in the top three positions – with six ranking at number one – within the highly competitive online environment of ‘home improvements’. All 14 keywords rank in the top 10.
The proof of the pudding, however, is in last month’s results in which we doubled conversion rates and increased transactions for the brand by 64 percent.
Guru Prasad, multi-channel solutions consultant at Floors-2-Go, comments: “I am consistently impressed with the attention to detail and knowledge of the e-commerce retail market shown by oneagency.co. Their ability to make a change to the strategy to improve site performance demonstrates their absolute understanding of digital marketing.”
