Increase in prompted brand awareness for Haven Power

Marketing integration has pulled in some great results for one client in particular in 2012.

By adopting a varied marketing communications plan at the beginning of the year, business electricity supplier Haven Power is now enjoying an increase in prompted brand awareness of 18 percent*.

Crucial for Haven was to ensure that when potential customers and energy consultants were targeted by the sales team, they didn’t ask: ‘Haven who?’, as this lack of recognition was proving detrimental to Haven’s future growth. Therefore, a brand awareness campaign creating consistent background noise about the company was needed, to not only position it as a leading business electricity supplier but also to support the ambitious sales targets for the year. knew that to achieve greater awareness among its target audiences (SME businesses, I&C businesses, energy consultants and stakeholders) and to effectively communicate Haven’s key messages, a truly integrated campaign was needed.

The channels we employed both online and offline included advertising, direct mail, literature, e-newsletters, events and exhibitions, SEO, proactive media relations and a seasonal viral campaign and took what had been fairly static organic growth to a whole new level.
