Plan Eat Save campaign features on Mustard TV

Supporting Norfolk County Council with its bid to reduce food waste in the region, in May 2016 we created and launched Plan Eat Save – an exciting new campaign proud to support Love Food Hate Waste in Norfolk.

Still going strong, the campaign is continuing to grow momentum. So much so, that the producers at local TV news channel Mustard TV decided to film a piece all about Plan Eat Save for their Friday Foodie slot on The Mustard Show.

We arranged for presenters Jake Watson and Beth Davison to chat with Martina, waste reduction officer at Norfolk County Council, and Haste’s Kitchen’s Ian Haste, one of Norfolk’s best loved chefs and YouTubers and Plan Eat Save’s official brand ambassador.

Martina discussed lots of nifty ideas to help the people of Norfolk start planning meals, eating smart and saving money, while Ian talked through his top tips on eating healthy for less and even brought in his famous DIY breakfast bars, packed full of leftovers, for the presenters and crew to try.

Have a watch of the interview above, we’re at 4:18! If you’re interested in finding out more about the campaign, follow Plan Eat Save on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
