‘Work hard, play hard’: London office update
As you’ll hopefully be aware we moved into our new London office a month ago and so far this great city has delivered on the age-old adage: ‘work hard, play hard’.
The work comes in the form of new projects from GlaxoSmithKline and OmniServ.
GlaxoSmithKline has kept the team busy with the exciting ‘Global Brand Launch Books’ project. We’ve produced supporting material for global brand managers to launch line extensions for brands, such as Sensodyne and Aquafresh, across the world and maximize on sales opportunities within emerging consumer markets. Video production work and the artwork for several hundred European medical brands are also being developed.
OmniServ, the airline industry service company, has asked us to build a new corporate website, as well as tasking us with making their tender documents look first class. All in a day’s work!
After all that, you may be wondering where the ‘play’ comes in to it all!
Well, that excitement comes from the Olympics. The office roof terrace and video screens provided the perfect spot to watch the opening ceremony, with the Red Arrows flying right overhead and – probably – one of the best views of the Olympic Park fireworks (as seen in the featured image!).
Silicon Roundabout or digital Shoreditch, whatever you choose to call it, we find ourselves in the middle of a vibrant design community, where the spirit of entrepreneurial endeavor is truly thriving. So too is the hospitality of the local bars and restaurants that are wowing clients and Norwich colleagues.
And finally, the upcoming ‘Shoreditch Design Triangle’ means the excitement does anything but die off when the Olympics finish!
